Snippety Snip is a simple application that allows you to shorten a long url by simple typing it or pasting it in the box. Just tap Snip when your ready to shorten!

Snippety Snip uses three major shortening services to shorten your url, is.gd, tinyurl, gr.cx and many more.

Snippety Snip also integrates with other applications on your iPhone, you can copy and paste urls and even send them to a friend from right inside the app (via email).

Now with support for Bookmarks, you can save and name your favorite short URLs for later, and even access then offline.

Once you have installed the "Bookmarklet" from the Preferences side of the application, at any point while browsing the web in Safari, with the tap of your finger you can simply shorten the current page into a more friendly URL.
